The Cescom lab includes two adjacent and soundproofed rooms (a “control room” and a “recording studio”) separated by a one-way mirror. From the control room it is possible to monitor most of the electronic devices in the recording studio.

The recording studio is equipped with precision cameras (3 CDD HD, adjustable on x, y, z axis), omnidirectional microphones, a high-quality projector and a light system setup with dimmer and mixer.

A video-sound mixer (more than 600 2D effects and 1600 3D effects) in the control room allows different sophisticated recording techniques (i.e., the ‘split-screen’ technique). Systems to input data in different formats (dv, mpeg, avi, dvd, vhs), clip-on microphones, headset microphones and software to input and edit video/audio files are also available.
